QUOTES FROM THE PAST

You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.

Welcome to HCCH!!
ImageHCCH is a Christian organization established to provide support, education, and fellowship for local homeschooling families who are striving to train up their children in the Lord.  Our existence depends on dedicated members who invest their time and resources.

How to Register
Membership in HCCH requires filling out TWO forms: the registration form and the field trip form. Simply follow the instructions on both forms and mail the forms with payment to the address on the registration form.

Our registrar will enter your information into our directory and place you on our mass e-mail list which is part of our communications department. Once your registration is complete, you will receive an e-mail each month notifying you of the placement of the newsletter on the web site and intermittent e-mails with pertinent information on events and items to help you with your home school experience.

We hope your experience with HCCH brings you the support you are looking for in the home school community!

Thank you,

Karen Holmes
HCCH Chairman of the Board
& News Coordinator

S.A.C. Day
SAC Day (Secondary Academic Class Day) is for HCCH students who are ready for high school level classes.  A student must be 14 by September 1, 2009 and functioning on at least the 9th grade level to participate at SAC Day.  The only exception we make to that rule is 13 year olds (8th graders) may take Algebra I only.

SAC Day Registration for 2009-2010 is already underway.  Registration paperwork will be sent out via email on April 15 to all current SAC Day families.  Early registration (for returning families only) is scheduled for April 27 and May 4 at SAC Day.  Other registration periods are May 5 - June 1 (Regular Registration), and June 2 - August 14  (Late Registration).

Please note the Admissions Process

Is SAC Day for my family?
SAC Day (Secondary Academic Class Day) is a very unique homeschooling situation.  It is unlike any other class day or co-op in the San Antonio area.  SAC Day is not designed to meet all the academic or social needs of homeschooling families; in other words, we do not aim to be a “one-size fits all” educational opportunity.
